Mohare Danda Trek is a short trekking expedition full of surprises. It is one of those newly opened short treks which provides you the ultimate view of the Annapurna Region. Providing you a mesmerizing view of snow-capped mountain peaks, this trek is all you need to fall in love with nature.

Also named as Machhapuchhre due to its fishtail structure paralyzes the eyes of the viewers through the exotic snowy view.

Mohare Danda Trek  -The Mirror Of Annapurna

Since many of us have been familiar with the Annapurna Region. Mohare Danda Trekking is hands down your ideal way to know Annapurna Region better. Situating in the lap of the Annapurna, this trek provides you the easy foothills to get soaked in the serenity of the whole Annapurna Region. It is a short trek perfect for those trekkers who have allocated a short travel time from their busy work schedule. 

On the base of the Eco community lodge trek, the Mohare danda trek was started in 2010 for external visitors situated in Myagdi and Parbat district near Pokhara Nepal. This newly discovered trekking is suitable for all kinds of travelers like a child to old age people who interest in adventure in the mountain area of Nepal.

It is a quiet trekking route as compared to Ghorepani Poonhill trekking in Nepal because in high season Poonhill route is crowded a lot. The higher altitude of this trek is 3310m from sea level. You can see the perfect view of the snow-capped majestic mountain including Annapurna 1(8091m) with this range, Dhaulagiri 1(8167m) with its range, and Manaslu(8163m) and its range.

Rhododendron forest(the national flower of Nepal which bloom in March and April) and Terraced farmland makes this trekking trail so beautiful. Magar and Gurung cast is occupied this trekking area. They provide good hospitality, tradition and unique culture makes this trekking lifetime in travelers' minds.

Nobody can forget it's unique and beautiful. Organic and hygienic food prepared by local people with local taste is also an attraction of this trek. The funds increase directly goes to the education sector in this area. So the tourist also indirectly develop local people and education.

Mohre Danda Trek itinerary:

Day 1: Arrive Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
Day 2: Fly to Pokhara. Afternoon at leisure.
Day 3: Drive to Galeshwor and trek to Bans Kharka, 1,526m/5,007ft - 3 hours.
Day 4: Trek to Nagi, 2,320m/7,612ft - 6-7 hours.
Day 5: Trek to Mohare Danda, 3,310m/10,860ft - 6-7 hours.
Day 6: Trek to Deorali 3,090m/10,138ft, via Poon Hill, 2,860m/9,383ft - 5 hours.
Day 7: Trek to Ghandruk village 1,940m /6,365ft - 5 hours.
Day 8: Trek to Nayapul, 1,070m/3,510ft – 4-5 hours. Drive to Pokhara.
Day 09: Fly to Kathmandu. Afternoon at leisure.
Day 10: Departure your trip.
