Trip Information

A peaceful destination that offers you the amazing pleasure of watching mountains. Gokyo Lake is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful destinations that the Khumbu Region has to offer you.  The gorgeous turquoise-hued lake and the pristine icy glaciers look so fascinating that they will melt your heart away. With the trekking trails, that makes you reach up to Base Camp of Everest and the Gokyo Ri village. Gokyo Lake Trekking is a wonderful option for adventure enthusiasts.

Likewise, if you trek along you can have fantastic opportunities to watch the beautiful piece on earth, Mt. Everest. As well as the other snow-capped mountains and glaciers in your way to base camp attract every trekker passing by. No wonder, the Everest Base Camp Trek is one of the popular treks in the Khumbu Region.

Unless you don’t want to trek among a horde of voyagers. Everest Base Camp might not be a suitable trekking destination for you. While with less chaos, surreal beauty, blend of snow-capped mountains and sparky glittery lake (Gokyo Lake) Gokyo Lake Trek can perfectly match your desires.

You will experience the Sherpa Culture of Himalaya and witness their colorful monasteries. You can find these monasteries that are built hundreds of years ago. Your stay will be accommodated in the local guesthouse or teahouses in the way. Try asking for their stories when you visit one. They can inspire and motivate you to trek further. It always works. After all, not only the mountains and trails have attracted visitors. The great hospitality of Nepalese Sherpa that whispers throughout the seven seas is what lures voyagers around them.
