One of the brightest events that you can arrange for yourself in Nepal is to fly to Everest by helicopter. See the Top of the World, take a lot of photos, fly by a helicopter among the Himalayas, view the base camp of climbers, stand on the top of Kalapattar at 5600 m, drink tea in a Japanese hotel overlooking the main peaks of Nepal. All this is possible in one day. If you go here by the classic route, then it is at least 14 days. This is a standard flight option, there are several others about which you can learn more by writing to me.
A transfer will arrive at the hotel early in the morning and take you to the airport. After going through all the formalities, we will board a helicopter and fly to the Khumbu region. First, stop at Everest View Hotel at 3880 meters. It is equipped with everything needed for travelers from Kathmandu. From here there is a stunning view of the Main Himalayan Range and its main peaks.
Everest and Lhotse are visible. After a short wait, we board the plane again and now fly to the very heart of the Himalayas - to Everest. Around us are seven and eight thousand legendary mountains: Ama-Dablam, Thamserku, Kantega, Cholatse, Tabuchi, Pumori, Lhotse, Nuptse, and the majestic Everest. The views are breathtaking!
The helicopter flies just a few kilometers from the mountain. You cannot fly around Sagarmatha (the Nepalese name for Everest ) from abroad with China, which runs along the very top. But to fly as close as possible, to fly over the base camp of climbers is yes. If the weather is good, we land on Kalapattara at an altitude of 5600 m.
One of the best views opens up from here! Huge snowy peaks are very close, creating a phenomenal landscape! Everest rises above us in its unsurpassed beauty so close that it seems you can reach out and touch.
The boarding time is 15-20 minutes, it is no longer worth spending there for security reasons. After that, we return to the Everest View Hotel(highest altitude 3-star hotel, Japanese hotel) at an altitude of 3800. Here you can admire the Himalayas, order breakfast or coffee. In about 40 minutes a helicopter will fly behind us and take us to Kathmandu.
The whole journey takes 5-6 hours. Better to have 1-2 days of weather reserve. There are no restrictions on training, this flight is suitable for all people with average health. It is important to have good sunglasses and a warm jacket with you, apply sun cream on your skin. It is best to wear sports shoes that cover your feet, sometimes there may be snow on Kalapatthar. If you like to do Everest Base Camp on foot see our other package Everest Base Camp Trek.

The most tourist Hub of Khumbu region- Namche Situated at 3440 m above sea level and Pasang Lhamu Municipality. It is the gateway of the Everest region and most busy because tourists can stay there 3 nights in Everest Base camp trek. After the flight to Lukla and trek, two days then can reach Namche Bazar.
Because of high altitude tourists need to acclimatize their bodies with high altitude so they need to rest there and when they complete the trek and back from Everest Base camp they stay one more night again. If they with trek Everest Panorama or Everest View also they stay two night here.
Because one day they arrive and the next day they need to explore Namche or they need to go Khumjung, Khunde, and the world's highest altitude star hotel at Syangboche Hotel Everest View(3880m).
so after exploring Namche the tourist like to go to Everest Base camp but their time frame is short so they like to Take the EBC Heli tours from Namche. And back to Lukla or Kathmandu by helicopter. Some tourists cannot trek above from Namche because of high altitude and sickness but they like to see the majestic view of Everest Base Camp.

If you book the flight via Gokyo you can see the majestic view of Gokyo lake, Gokyo RI, and Cho Oyu(8201m) also.
So this flight is very important for travelers who reach Namche Bazaar but like to explore Everest Base camp with Khumbu Glacier and icefall.
Dingboche to Everest Base camp Helicopter tour:
Dingboche is the second acclimatization place in Everest base camp trekking. This place is very popular because the people who trek High pass and the trekkers who trek the Kongma-la pass must stay there. Dingboche situated at the valley an altitude of 4410m above sea levels.
At this high altitude, some trekkers can feel Acute Mountain Sickness and like to back to Kathmandu by helicopter. But they can book a flight through Everest base camp too.
Some trekkers bored with trekking because they have no habit of the trek in long-duration so they ask Mission Himalaya Treks for a Heli tour and back to Kathmandu. They can enjoy the view of Chukung valley Lhotse and Lhotse Sar with Makalu, Thamserku, Ama Dablam, Mt. Everest, and several Himalayan ranges with Khumbu icefall and Glacier.
If they go through Gokyo they can enjoy lake view and different landscapes than another world they explore before. Helicopter tour views much nicer than trek views because you can see from high altitude.

The flight to the helicopter was so amazing and we saw lots of mountains during the flight and having breakfast time. We have no words to describe the View on Everest Helicopter tour and the mountains surrounding it, and the experience of flying around them. Service provided by Mission Himalaya Treks and Expeditions was superb. Reasonable price and you can get exactly what you need. Congratulations to the Mission Himalaya Management team.

Birendra and his team were so wonderful. I would recommend for everyone sure. My one piece of advice is to make sure the flight time of the helicopter. The Pickup drop and helicopter flight time pick up and drop are on time. The pilot shows us the village and mountains. He is so talkative.
Everest Flight once in a lifetime.
