Chitwan was declared a National park in 1973. In 1984, UNESCO designated it as Natural World Heritage Site. The Chitwan National park offers protection to 56 species of mammals including the one-horned rhinoceros, Bengal Tiger, leopard, sloth bear, wild elephant, striped hyena, Genetic dolphin, and wild bison. There are an estimated species of birds, 126 species of fish, 590 species of butterflies and 47 species of reptiles in the park. The Chitwan National Park is spread over an area of 932 sq.km and located in the lowlands of the kingdom. Day to Day Itinerary
Day 01: drive to Chitwan from Kathmandu by tourist bus, privet jeep comes to pick you up from Bus Park to hotel. After check in the hotel have lunch and jungle guides take you to jungle walk elephant safari and nature walk with the boat ride and back to the hotel.
Day 02: After breakfast, we take to jungle walk through grassland and forest upstream of the Narayani River. We back to the hotel on a boat to observe crocodiles along the banks. We take lunch at about one and take rest. We will go to the elephant bathing. And then we go for Elephant safari,
Day 03: Wake Up Call followed by tea/coffee, Bird Watching, Breakfast, and final Departure to Kathmandu.
