Winter is not the best time due to closed pass because of higher level snowing and toom much cold passes are closed.

Best time:

The best time to travel to the mountains of Nepal is April-May and October-November. Why? The explanation is very simple, The trick is that Nepal is located very close to the tropics, and in the tropics, the seasons are determined not by the air temperature, but by precipitation (monsoons) - the dry season and the rainy season. And if you go to the mountains, then you understand that prolonged rains in the mountains are a problem.

So, in Nepal, the main monsoon takes place in the summer, from June to August. Therefore, you can potentially go trekking to the trek from September to May. But in winter, in the middle of this "dry" period, it is quite cold, and therefore the "warm edges" of the dry season - spring and autumn - remain the most comfortable for travel.

According to our past experiences of trekkers realized for sure that you had to go in the fall. Yes, someone in pursuit of flowering plants travels in the spring, but still, judging by the photographs, nature is a little gray in spring, withered after winter. In autumn, there is solid greenery, albeit without flowers.

Now, after passing the trekking to Annapurna, we can be sure that you do not regret that you choose exactly in the fall. It was dry, with a lot of sun and greenery. The only thing was that we were at the very peak of the season (late October - early November), and there were a lot of people. From conversations, realized that you can go in the second half of November and even in the first half of December -especially on treks t. There will be half the number of people on the trail, and the air is slightly colder. Do not choose winter for this trekking due to close the pass by heavy snowing.
