Nar-Phu Valley trekking was opened for the tourist after 2002. The trek of Nar-Phu Valley is an exciting adventurous visiting in Manang North region of Annapurna. The fantastic Nar-Phu journey starts same like Annapurna circuit trek and then branch off from Koto. Then follow the beaten track of Dharamshala and Khyang with Nar-Phu Valley and Pass the Kang la pass with a magnificent panorama of Annapurna Mountain. This pass link Nar with Manang. The high snow peaks, high altitude settlements, trekking in the hidden valley, Tibetan culture and alpine scenery, Flora and fauna are the main attractions of this treks. Tashi Lakhang Gumpa and receiving a blessing from Lama Karma Sonam Rimpoche make you so confident of life and Buddhist pilgrims system around. This trekking ends to Nawol the higher route of Annapurna circuit trek and either you can back to meet the same route from Pisang – Chame- koto or you can trek throng pass, or Tilicho lake and Meso kata pass and take a flight from Jomsom to Pokhara or can do whole Annapurna circuit including Nar-Phu.

Suggested Itinerary

Day 1st: Arrival day in Kathmandu transfer to hotel (1350m/4429ft) {20 minutes drive}

Day 2nd: Kathmandu valley sightseeing and trek preparation (1350m/4429ft).

Day 3rd: Drive from Kathmandu to Syanje (1100m/3609ft) {7-8 hours drive}

Day 4th: Trek from Syange to Tal (1700m/5577ft) {6 hours trek}

Day 5th: Trek from Tal to Koto (2610m/8563ft) {7 hours trek}

Day 6th: Trek from Koto to Meta (3560m/11680ft) {7-8 hours trek}

Day 7th: Trek from Meta to Phu Gaun (4250m/13944ft) {7-8 hours trek}

Day 8th: Acclimatization at Phu Gaun (4250m/13944ft)

Day 9th: Trek from Phu Gaun to Nar (4110m/13484ft) {6-7 hours trek}

Day 10th: Acclimatization at Nar (4110m/13484ft)

Day 11th: Trek from Nar to Kang La Pass (5322m/17460ft) to Ngawal (3657m/11998ft) {7-8 hours trek}

Day 12th: Trek from Ngawal to Manang (3540m/11614ft) {4-5 hours trek}

Day 13th: Trek from Manang to Yak Kharka (4110m/13484ft) {3-4 hours trek}

Day 14th: Trek from Yak Kharka to Throng Phedi(4600m/15092ft) {3-4 hours trek}

Day 15th: Trek from Throng Phedi to Throng pass (5416m/17764ft) to Muktinath (3800m/12467ft) {7-8 hours trek}

Day 16th: Trek from Muktinath to Jomsom (2715m/8910ft) {5-6 hours trek}

Day 17th: Fly from Jomsom to Pokhara (823m/2700ft) {25 minutes flight}

Day 18th: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu (1350m/4429ft) {6-7 hours drive}

Day 19th: Shopping, Departure or extend your trip.
